How to Calculate CD4/ CD8 Counts from available Total Count & Differential Count
An example:
Total Count as reported is 8000 cells/ccm.
Differential count - Lmphocyte is 30%
Therefore the absolute lymphocyte count is 30% of 8000 = 2400 cells (lymph)
Of the Lymphocytes 80% are T cell % while 20% are B Cell.
Thus 80% of 2400 = 1920 (T cell) and 20% of 2400 = 480 (B Cell)
Of the total T Cell - 60% are T4 cells ------CD4 Cells.
Therefore 60% of 1920 = 1152 cells are CD4
Of the total T Cell - 30% are T8 cells ------CD8 Cells
Therefore 30% of 1920 = 576 cells are CD8
Of the total T Cell - 10% are other cells – killer/non killer.
There fore CD4 IS 1152 Cells and CD 8 is 576 cells.

Resignation Letter
Found this interesting poem.....:)
"The name is good, the brand is big
But the work I do is that of a pig
The work or the brand; what is my way?
I don't know if I should stay.
To work, they have set their own way
Nobody will care to hear what I say
My will be NULL, they wont change their way
I don't know if I should stay.
the money is good, the place is great
But the development is at a very small rate
Should I go for the work, or wait for pay
I don't know if I should stay!
The managers don't know what they talk
The team doesn't know where they walk
That's a bad situation, what say?

The -ves are more, the +ves are less
Then why have this unnecessary mess
